If you're hosting a party and having all your friends over, playing truth or dare games is always A MUST! This game is the reason why thousands of teenagers have experienced their first kiss, or scored a kiss from their crushes.

Questions for Teens

What you need for Truth or Dare

Truth or dare games don’t need any board games or any equipment to play. Just a group of people willing to bare their souls, pucker up their lips, and be brave enough to complete what others dared them to do.

But before we begin with the truth questions and dare ideas, make sure you know the basic rules (check this truth or dare guide here if this is your first time playing.)

Now, are you ready? Let’s get it on:

Truth Questions for Teens

You have to know that all the answers you reveal to your group of friends could be used against you in the dare portion.

For example, if you disclosed who your crush is right now, and if you’re lucky that he’s present at the party, there’s a BIG chance that you’ll be paired for a one-on-one smoochfest as a dare.

So are you game? If you said yes, then answer the following questions as truthfully as you can.

  1. Who is the first person you’ve ever kissed in your life? Is he/she here?

  2. Do you have a secret crush right now?

  3. If you can choose the person to be alone in a room for an hour, who would it be?

  4. Which celebrity do you remind of your real crush?

  5. What makes a person a good kisser?

  6. Would you kiss someone of the same sex as you?

  7. What’s the biggest lie you’ve ever told?

  8. Would you date someone from this room?

  9. Have you ever had a crush on a cartoon character? If so, which one is it?

  10. Who do you think is the prettiest girl/most handsome guy in school?

  11. How many times have you been kissed?

  12. Do you believe in love at first sight?

  13. What part of a kiss do you love/hate?

  14. Have you ever had a crush on a teacher?

  15. If you’re asked to choose between your best friend or a guy/girl you like, who would you pick?

  16. Have you ever practiced kissing on your hand before?

  17. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve done to get the attention of the girl/guy you like?

  18. Have you ever prank-called your crush?

  19. When kissing, do you prefer a closed mouth kiss or one with your tongue?

  20. Do you close your eyes when you kiss?

  21. If you had to be stuck on an island and you can pick one person from this room to join you, who would it be?

  22. Is your first kiss a good or bad memory?

  23. What qualities do all your crushes have in common?

  24. If you can kiss any celebrity, who would it be?

  25. Who has given you your best kiss so far?

Whether you’re the one asking the questions or not, this list of truth questions should be able to prepare you for tackling the hard questions of the game.

Playful Dare Ideas for Teens

Before you participate in the dare portion of the game, you have to know that YOU ARE NOT required to do anything you are not comfortable doing. But if you’re ready to play, here are some dare ideas to get you started:

Kiss Someone Random

  • Kiss the person on your left.
  • Kiss the second person on your right.
  • Spin a bottle and kiss the person where the bottle stops.
  • Kiss everybody playing on both their cheeks.
  • Kiss someone else from the party who has no idea you’re playing truth or dare

Get Up Close & Personal

  • Let the dare-giver choose a person whose eyes you’ll stare into for an entire minute.
  • Pick someone from the group and slow-dance with them.
  • Exchange your top with the person on your left.
  • Be blindfolded, feel someone’s face with just your hand, and guess who the person is.
  • Belly-dance for someone playing the game.

Play a Game

The following kissing games are commonly used as dares. The person dared for the challenge is paired by somebody, who is chosen via spin the bottle, drawn names out of a hat, or simply by voting. Of course, this will vary based on what rules all players agreed upon before the game.

  • Seven Minutes in Heaven: The person who is dared must be blindfolded and put in an enclosed, dark space (like a closet) and stay inside with someone for seven minutes.

The party assumes the two people “trapped” inside will kiss the entire 7 minutes, but they don’t really have to. This exact game was depicted in the rom-com movie “13 Going on 30”, if you’re looking for a reference.

  • Suck and Blow: The object of the game is to suck a thin object (like a playing card or piece of paper) using your mouth, blowing it gently to transfer to another person in line, and so on...

Most teens tend to choose a super-small object so that accidental kissing becomes a lot more likely. If you need a reference, check the classic rom-com movie “Clueless.”

  • Spin the bottle: If it’s your turn and you choose dare over truth, you have to spin the bottle and kiss the person it points to. It doesn’t matter if it’s your best friend, a person of the same sex as you, or your enemy.

  • Hide and Go Get: Based on the ‘hide and seek’ game, this kissing game has the same rules. Except when you get to find the person hiding, instead of shouting “tag you’re it,” you have to kiss him/her.

  • Guess Who?: If you are dared to play, you need to wear a blindfold. Someone from the party will then kiss you, and you have to guess the kisser’s identity without peeping.

Truth or Dare Kissing Game

Before you join any Truth or Dare game with teenagers, you should be ready for some kissing. It is guaranteed that about 90% of the game will involve someone kissing another person. Or someone spilling out the names of their crushes, whom they’ll probably kiss later in the night.

It is perfectly fine not to join if you’re not ready. Remember that the objective of the game is to have fun and not embarrass anyone. Check our Spin the Bottle article for more kissing ideas.
